Yuhua Comes to Town!

Enjoy a night of festivities, music, and laughter —with wigs! — at this solo cabaret act featuring Yuhua Hamasaki, best known for competing on the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race.

This June, New York magazine named Yuhua one of the top 100 Most Powerful Drag Queens in America. Bask in her glory as she sings, dances, and — no surprise — lip syncs, decked out in the eye-filling iconic costumes she designs herself. Then on Festival Sunday, she’ll star as the lady crime boss of Mishima’s The Black Lizard at Town Hall.

Yuhua Hamasaki is the stage name of Yuhua Ou, who was born in Guangzhou, China. She moved to New York City when she was seven and started doing drag on the club kid scene under the name Yuhua. She later added "Hamasaki" after Japanese pop star girl-singer Ayumi Hamasaki. Yuhua’s Festival cabaret show is her Provincetown debut.
