COVID Guidelines for 2021 Festival

For your safety, our Festival team, volunteers, and artists are all fully vaccinated.

Our shows will be entertaining and they will be safe.

Wishing you a happy end of summer! As we prepare to welcome you back to Provincetown this September, we’d like to share the COVID measures the Festival will follow. For your safety, our Festival team, volunteers, and artists are all fully vaccinated. Additionally, most of our performances will be held outdoors or under tents with open sides.

  • Entering an indoor venue: To accommodate everyone, either a COVID-19 vaccination card or a negative “PCR” test result will get you into our indoor venues at the spacious Town Hall and Fishermen Hall.

  • Face coverings for all events: We’ll need everyone to wear a mask that covers both your nose and mouth. If you forget to bring a mask, we'll have some available at each performance.

  • Social distancing in the audience: For performances where we set the seating, we’ll be arranging socially distanced chairs. If you’d like to bring your own chairs, please do. For performances where seating is flexible, we’ll request you choose socially distanced spots to enjoy the show.

In addition, we thought you might find this recent article in the NY Times about why Provincetown’s response July’s COVID outbreak was so effective a helpful resource.

Thank you again for joining us for our 16th year. Our shows will be entertaining and they will be safe. This year’s Festival will be September 23 – 26. Festival passes and tickets to individual shows are available now.  Get ready for a bold, thought-provoking, and thoroughly entertaining weekend!

See you in Provincetown,

Patrick Falco and the Festival Board of Directors
